JEN AKS 0:00

So you know when you just meet someone and you feel like you’ve known them you for a long time and you feel so soulfully connected to them. Well, that is my experience with Renee Walker. She is the founder of Renee Walker Wellness, which is a soul-led wellness and coaching practice. And she’s devoted to helping people heal their mindset and reconnect to their intuition. And she is such a soul.

She is so warm, so open, so generous, so successful. And we talk in this podcast about intuition and what that means and being led by that intelligence from within and what it looks like to not listen, to what it looks like to listen and how it can really impact your life. And we talk about that and we go on a journey together. And I’m just so excited to share her with all of you. So enjoy 35 minutes, stay till the end, give us a review.

I want to hear your thoughts. I want to hear your feelings. I want to hear where you felt connected. So looking forward to it. Let’s get started.

Welcome to the Wisdom from Within podcast. My name is Jen Aks, and I am your host. This is where mindset meets bodyset, where we access both so that we can make the most genuine, authentic, empowered impact on those we love and those we serve. Let’s get started. I think it’s so beautiful and important to tap in, you know, to the body and feel into where we are at this moment in our life.

And your work is so beautiful. And I’m so grateful to be in your presence and to be here to share your expertise, your journey, your knowing with the people listening, because I just know that it’s going to awaken people to themselves. And that’s what this podcast is all about. It is all about that wisdom from within and how we have been able to use it, the good, and I don’t even like to say bad because it’s not bad. It’s like the good and the discomfort and the all of the experiences in our life and how they have all been filled with intelligence and guidance to get us to where we are now.

And so I would love to begin by just hearing from you through that lens of, you know, body wisdom and body intelligence, and just sort of like your relationship to that and how it has informed you, those experiences in your life and the lessons that you have learned and the intelligence that’s within you. What has been your journey in listening to it and not? And how has it guided you here? That’s kind of a big ass question.

RENEE WALKER 3:15

Yes, we are definitely going there. And you know, the interesting thing, Jen, as prior to pushing record, you did this beautiful, um, you had us both ground ourselves energetically before coming in and starting this recording, which is a way to bring ourselves back into our body. And as we were doing this and we started this recording, and I could hear you speak, I started feeling emotional. And I think that that is the piece that we often feel uncomfortable with is that when we tune into our body, oftentimes we start to feel our emotions in a whole different way. And we see being emotional.

And I’m sure obviously this is the work that you do, but even in the work with clients and with people, so often people will they’ll apologize for being emotional. And no, my goodness, that is the most incredible, beautiful sign of being actually in your body and allowing yourself to feel. And it’s something that for most of us we’ve had to learn because it wasn’t necessarily how we thought, especially, you know, I was born in the 70s, uh, we were not really told or encouraged to feel to be with the experience of being in our body. So it has been for me on a personal level such an experience, a willingness to be with all that comes with being in your body, yeah, which is often uncomfortable.

JEN AKS 5:01

Yeah, yeah. So I I I love all of that. I’m curious, um, from from your experience, did you not listen to your body for a long time? Was there a transition or were you always in tune?

RENEE WALKER 5:17

No, I don’t even know that I had the words or the vocabulary, like I just didn’t even know what that meant. Yeah, similar to you, I so I had a gymnastics background. So I was in gymnastics and competed at worlds and and did so so much of it was I was using my body, using my body as a tool and training hours a day. And so I felt can I thought I was connected in that I could do beautiful things with my body. And yet I realized, and it was only after you know, really being on my own healing journey, realizing how I saw it as that, as more of a tool.

And so there was a disconnect, and the sense of bringing everything together has been and is still a journey of really being with it. And I found as a woman as well how much our bodies have changed. And so, even being in our bodies, I don’t know what you felt, but for me, that has looked different as well.

JEN AKS 6:29

Yeah, yeah. You know, I’m also just drawn to this whole notion, and I see you as like a young child doing gymnastics and and knowing that that was a tool for success in a physical kinesthetic way only, right? It was the tool that helped you do the gymnastics. But what you’re saying, I believe, is that you didn’t feel the power of the emotional body or the somatic body, the wisdom inside of our body. It was just like this is our body.

It’s a physical body that’s allowing me to do gymnastics. But what we weren’t taught, it sounds like what you weren’t either, is that there’s all this wisdom, there’s like this that gut instinct when we’re younger. How beautiful would it have been to have been taught to say, hey, if you feel that that person over there across the room in the gymnastic, she’s like a bully and you shouldn’t be friends with her. That’s an important choice to make because your gut is telling you. But no one’s teaching us about that kind of wisdom at that age, right?

RENEE WALKER 7:28

No, and it is something that we are, I mean, I think there’s more language around it now for the younger generation, which I think is so beautiful and important. And then for us, it is learning to it’s been really slowing down enough to pay attention. And as I mentioned, being willing to actually listen to that. So I use the term intuition a lot, and yet our intuition speaks to us through our bodies. And I think sometimes people have a misunderstanding that your intuition is more, I mean, it can be a thought, it speaks to us in different ways, but oftentimes it is really our body speaking to us and telling us this feels good, this doesn’t feel good.

It’s always communicating with us, and so it was on my spiritual journey when I really opened myself up spiritual, spiritually speaking, to a connection with a higher energy, um, that, and and then through the language of intuition and recognizing how my intuition was speaking to me through my body, that was the gateway for me. That was the opening that really uh where I realized, okay, wait a second, I am like missing out on a whole so much that I’ve been putting aside and not paying attention to, just seeing it as a separate thing.

JEN AKS 8:58

Yeah. How did that happen? Like, can you give us an example of like what that was like? You know, what what were some of those messages that you got intuitively that was like, oh my God, and then took you on a path? You know, is there a concrete example of what that intuition felt like, what that experience was like, and then lead and then following that intuitive knowledge and then what it led you to?

RENEE WALKER 9:26

So I am someone who I feel that um kinesthetic, definitely, but I also kind of get those the knowing that you can’t quite explain where it’s just, I don’t know, but I’ve got this something is calling me. This feels like a yes. I make my decisions very quickly. It’s you know, I meet you and I’m like, I love this person. Uh, let’s talk more.

And I don’t overthink it. I really trust it. And so it’s kind of that gut feeling that comes. Um, but like most things in life, it’s never like that one moment. It is an assimilation of leaning into it more and more and letting it open the door for you in some ways that maybe before it’s like you’re putting on a new pair of glasses and you’re seeing it through a different lens where the intuition, the guidance, the body, all of it, it’s all one.

You know, again, we kind of were taught that everything was operates separately. And then we as a human hold all these separate parts of us. But when we integrate them and we realize, oh yeah, of course they work all together, then it becomes difficult to separate all of it because you see it as this one, this one presence, this one that is present, whether it’s physically in your body that you’re tuning into it or more of this knowing.

JEN AKS 10:57

Yeah. But that takes a lot of courage, I feel like, right? Like that takes a lot of courage and trust to follow it because there’s a lot of people that they’re like, okay, I hear you on the intuition. Okay, I get it that there’s this gut knowing, but like, how do I know it’s right? How do I know how to trust it?

And I think that’s really important for people to hear about. Like, yes, it can take you down this way and it can take you down that. But the thing here that I’m trying to really do for people is say all of it is okay, all of it is a lesson. If you listen to that gut and it takes you down a path and it didn’t work out the way you thought, it was meant to work out exactly that way. Because there’s a lesson there.

So it’s like leaning into that. So I would love to hear your perspective on all of that.

RENEE WALKER 11:47

No, I think that exactly what you’re saying, in the sense of it is about being curious and just questioning, questioning everything, not from the lens of fear, not from like being, oh, you know, I’m not sure, but being open. And what happens oftentimes is we close ourselves off to this is the way it should be, this is the way I do, this is the story of my life, this is what is running in the background. And so so much of this work is opening yourself up, and we open ourselves up through being curious around the decisions that we’re making. But the the most liberating thing, and you touched on this, Jen, so beautifully, is that we it uh and this maybe is a little bit different, but I’m just gonna share it from the the sense of I spent so many years trying to figure out like what my purpose was. Right.

What am I meant to do? And I just thought there was like this one thing, and that would magically, if I could figure out that one thing magically, everything would make sense, right? And what so much of this work and being willing to open myself up and to lean in to taking just that small, the small actions, whatever it is that we’re feeling guided to do, and taking and having the courage to take those small steps, it always opened up so much. And sometimes the what you’re being guided to is a redirection because where you’re meant to go is here, but you can’t see that yet. You can only see here, and so you’re being guided here, and from this place is a redirection to exactly what you need to be.

So a lot of this work as well is surrendering and just think that we are always being divinely guided. There’s no right or wrong, and so it’s a willingness of stepping into the the unknowing, the imperfect way of doing life. And in that perfection is where the like the clarity comes in the willingness to do the things when we don’t know if it’s the right thing.

JEN AKS 14:02

Yeah, I think it’s so comforting for people to hear this over and over and over again. You know, it’s like that’s surrender, but I know it’s surrender and it’s trust and it’s okay, and imperfection is welcome and it’s actually necessary. And what the hell is perfect anyway? Like I don’t even believe in any of that stuff, but but I understand the fear, the fear that people live in because they don’t want to take that step forward. They don’t want to, you know, listen because what if, what if it’s not celebrated?

What if I’m not successful? And it’s sort of that reframe of no matter what happens, it is successful because there is a gem of a lesson in there for you to learn that you’re meant to either incorporate or go teach to somebody. Like it’s all, it’s all divine, in my opinion. I’m curious about you had mentioned like your healing journey, and you’ve also, I’m just called to like this crossroads in your life. It, you know, you went to you had your spiritual awakening, you said you mentioned that you had a healing journey, and I’m curious about that crossroads.

Was that a moment of you know, disconnection to your knowing to reconnection? Um, how did you cross that bridge?

RENEE WALKER 15:16

Yeah, I I say that it’s been more of a remembering, you know, this whole journey is really a remembering.

JEN AKS 15:24

Right.

RENEE WALKER 15:25

And um, and it’s interesting because sometimes things have to feel like they’re really. We often hear the stories of things were so bad, and and I hit my low point, and then something shifted. And the interesting thing was I was what you know, when my kids were were young, I was invited to be a part of this life coaching group just to to be in it as a participant. It was over 20 years ago, and I did not know what I was saying yes to, but it was like, sure, it’s a night off. If I can get my husband to be at home with the kids, sign me up, I’ll do it.

Not knowing. And then the coach that I had, who’s a dear friend of mine today, she asked the question so, so what do you really want? And it was such a simple question. You look back at it, it’s so simple, and it goes back to what we were talking about the questioning, the curiosity, because in that moment, my entire body. So, speaking of how your body speaks to you, just I just froze.

And I thought, I have absolutely no answer to this question because I hadn’t really asked any of that before. I had never questioned, I was doing things and things were turning out well. So, this is the piece. It’s not that we’re not good, it’s that I was more kind of asleep to doing what was expected, what was the next right step, just doing what the good girl quote thing, right? And we’re working, but in that moment, I realized, wow, I feel like I’ve been asleep to for so much of my life, not really asking those questions.

And then as I started to ask that one question, and usually that’s what happens, right? It’s the one thing that net then unravels so many other questions, and then it just became this quest, this journey of what does it look like and what do I want, and exploring it from a personal development perspective, which then transformed more into a spiritual awakening because in that quest, realizing that actually it’s not about just the human me, it’s about the spirit, it’s just I am a spiritual being, having a human experience. And so opening myself up to this connection and what that meant, and again, unraveling all of the religious beliefs and everything that I had grown up with that are not wrong inherently, but that came from the outside that were told that were given to me as a construct of how life worked. Then I wanted to figure out how does life work for me? And that’s always changing, by the way.

It’s never ever a it’s never meant to be this stagnant um experience. So it it’s been a remembering, I would say.

JEN AKS 18:35

Wow, I I’m like so taken by that. That I felt that in my body as soon as you said that, like, what do you want? Right, just letting that land for the people that are listening, right? Like Renee is asking you, what do you want? And if we really, you know, allow ourselves to just feel that question, and I would invite whoever’s listening, if you’re not driving, to actually place your hand on your heart and belly and close your eyes.

And in my term, that’s the body set position because we’re so much in mindset, and using that question as a prompt to really pause wow, what a what a gift, and you’re right, how simple, how simple yet how profound. And I also love what you said that it’s always changing. And I in my world with my communities and clients and speaking and so forth, I always pose the journey. It’s like the journey I say I take people on is that inner inquiry of who am I now to the declaration of I am. Who am I to I am?

And that now piece is really important. And it’s exactly what you said like what do you want now? Because you’re in a different moment. Yeah, go ahead.

RENEE WALKER 20:21

No, I I I love this because part of it has been the shift from what do you want to who am I is one of the most beautiful, important meditations that we can do. Um, and it’s also the who am I, without really being attached to what the answer is, without even needing an answer, it’s who I is planting a seed of intention that you are opening yourself up to so many possibilities. So, spiritually speaking, when we’re tapping into universal consciousness, it is a field of infinite possibilities. And so, as humans, we’re always grasping for the known, the certainty, the what makes sense. And that, you know, it that’s our brain doing it to keep us safe.

It it needs that certainty. Yet at the same time, the soul knows different, right? When you speak of the soul set, I love that so much, Jen. I think it’s so important, but it connects us to that part of ourselves that knows that that knows exactly inherently exactly what we need and all that we are, and all that we are can never be defined by a word or a job or a identity or any of it. So it is it’s more about the intention behind the asking, the opening yourself up to be all that absolutely.

JEN AKS 21:48

I I love that in you know, to ground this or anchor this, I should say, in something because a lot of people write, and I totally get it because I wasn’t like, and neither were you. It’s like Like we had a whole spiritual journey, we had a whole thing, but there’s a lot of people that are like, what are you talking about? Like surrender and like, who am I and leave it out there? It’s like it’s and I understand because it’s like, how do I get there? And while you’re talking, I was thinking, it really is a choice.

We can make it simple, just like that question that was posed to you. It’s like, we can make it simple by just saying, okay, I know I want more. I know there’s something more for me. My body is speaking. It is telling me to do this or that.

My I know that I want to make a shift in my life. I know that I’m at a crossroads, whatever the thing is that we’re like facing, to anchor it in knowing that it’s a choice, right? Isn’t it just a choice at the end of the day to be like, okay, I’m listening to Renee and Jen, and like this sounds great. And I have no idea how to do any of it, but I’m just gonna take a step forward and I’m gonna call Renee, or I’m gonna call Jen, or I’m gonna reach out and just inquire about what this other thing is that you were talking about. You got to that place where you’re like, I mean, you said I’m paraphrasing, but you were like, there’s something else out there, I’m missing something.

There’s something bigger, right? You had mentioned that when you, I think when you were younger, you started thinking that. And you were like, what is all of this out here? So when you have that curiosity and that pull, just go, right? When you say just do something, like, what would you say would be the first outside of calling you or me?

RENEE WALKER 23:37

No, I think we definitely overcomplicate life. And it when you start to understand that anytime, so the the the calling, the knowing, the feeling it in your body, as you said, so you know there’s something there, you don’t know exactly what it is, but for some reason there’s something that’s calling you. That piece there, that initial moment of the connection of feeling it is the soul set in action, right? But then what happens when you understand that it makes sense that your subconscious mind is gonna kick in and say, Well, no, you can’t do that. That’s not gonna happen.

And that’s how we talk ourselves up out of making so many decisions and taking so much action when you understand that the the fear piece is always going to be a part of it, right? You’re going to take action and to listen to that nudge above all else, always say, like, how can you turn up the volume on your inner knowing, your intuition, your soul, and turn down the volume on the external noises, but also turning down the volume on the subconscious mind, the ego that is there to kind of keep you nice and safe. So, how can you do that? How can I turn up the volume more on my intuition, on my inner knowing? And then it really is a simple first action.

We overcomplicate it because we think of the oh it, you know, maybe you have a big vision, and some people do, right? You have a big vision, but then we talk ourselves out of it instead of just taking what’s the next, the next best step that I can take that feels safe and good right now, maybe a little scary, but and in the process of taking action, just like anything, you create momentum, but it’s a practice, like that. Is this that it’s a practice, it takes time. The the listening to your body, listening to your inner knowing, you need to create some space for it, right? Exactly.

Attention, the world is loud, there’s so many loud noises right now. We’re distracted always, and so there is you want to be intentional with creating space within so that you can pay attention, right? And permission to do it messy because it’s always going to be messy.

JEN AKS 26:07

Well, the mess is kind of where the I know that, you know, I hear all the voices when I say it’s kind of fun because I know that under in the mess, there’s a lot of pain from childhood, there’s a lot of pain as young adults. We all have experienced our version of difficulty, but I still say I know for sure that we can get to a playful place with it, and maybe not initially, but we can. When we slow down and we listen and we really understand the value of the lessons that are learned and then become empowered by them, then we can start to kind of dance with them a little bit and lighten them up. I’m curious, what would you say to someone? You know, you had mentioned it’s just that first step of creating that space for yourself, creating, you know, do you tell us actually about your work at this moment and like how you would guide someone, you know, obviously not in a huge way because they’d need to really see you for a long period of time.

But I’d love the listeners to hear from you the work that you do and and how you take people through a journey like this to get them to start listening to their body.

RENEE WALKER 27:15

Um, just to circle back quickly on what you were saying before, one of my favorite things is to just ask the universe to surprise and delight me because I feel that we often also have an expectation work can be heavy and it’s gonna be hard and the healing and stuff. And what if it gets to be light and playful as well? And so you asked that, like in the morning, yes, surprise and delight me. I’m open to be surprised and delighted in beautiful ways, so then we’re shifting our energy to yes, yes, yes, surprise and delight in beautiful ways. I added the beautiful ways.

JEN AKS 27:52

We don’t want to we don’t want to be surprised, right? Surprise and delight me in all beautiful ways, yeah. That’s so beautiful, and then I would add the gesture, you know, with the power of gesture, right? And in the universe, um surprise and delight me in the most beautiful ways, and then arms like up, you know, you can’t see me right now, right? But like, yes, arms we’re doing it for people on YouTube.

RENEE WALKER 28:16

You can see, you know, in Titanic the movie when there is open and we’re open to receive.

JEN AKS 28:28

Open to receive. It’s the you know, with the power of gesture, I talk about the play between the expansion and the contraction, and we do need to honor the contraction. The contraction is real, it’s the doubt, it’s the pain, it’s the worry, it’s the fear. We get it, we need to hear it and go open to Titanic, like open your arms wide and receive, universe. Surprise me and delight me.

RENEE WALKER 28:50

I’m Titanic, it’s the Titanic move, Jen. We just created a um a Titanic gesture.

JEN AKS 28:58

A Titanic gesture. Okay, that’s beautiful. I okay, so we’re getting back to your work and how you take people, what however you want to share about what it is that you do. And before we do that, question you have said soul set. Do you use that term or did you just come up with that here?

RENEE WALKER 29:16

Oh no, I’ve I I I will use it here and there. It’s more you, though. I’m I’m taking it from you right now because you use that word.

JEN AKS 29:24

Okay, here’s why this is what’s crazy. And I know it’s just an intuitive download for you. So I I talk about body set.

RENEE WALKER 29:34

Okay, that’s why and I’ve connected it to soul set.

JEN AKS 29:40

Yes, are you kidding me right now? Like that shit, you cannot make that up. You said that, right? Because I, you know, I use body set, I said body set at the beginning when we did the thing, and then in there you like slipped, you know, yeah, Janing, you’re like soul set. And I was like, Did you just say soul set?

Like my whole soul melted. Then you said it again, and then I was like, All right, I I’m gonna need to ask her about this. So you you just took it to like next level depth of like okay, that’s just incredible. So for the people that are listening, just really quick, mindset, you know, is amazing, it’s incredible. There are so many tools for mindset.

You name it. There’s a long list, affirmations, reframing, um, you know, uh, growth mindset. Get into the right mindset, stay positive, be strong. This is what people are telling you. It’s in your mind.

Think your way through. And in my work, I look at body set, I look at the body and the wisdom of the body. That’s what this podcast is about. This is what this conversation is about, and it’s bridging both. It’s not one or the other, it’s about all of it.

It’s mindset and bodyset and creating the bridge. Okay, we’re talking about that here. And Renee, who’s like an expert in like spirituality and connection to the universe and and like soul, she interprets it and just innately, wisely, intelligently says soul set. So I am in love with this because I also love three mindset, body set, soul set. We’re gonna have to talk about this online.

RENEE WALKER 31:20

You got it. Yes, yes. I think we do, I think we do. Um, okay, so back to you. I love the the so I always say for me it’s blending mindset and spirituality, yes, and then you’re adding the body piece to it.

So we’re kind of intersecting in a beautiful triangular divine triangle together, Jen. Oh um, so good. Yeah, I I again I do feel that the work we overcomplicate oftentimes what it is, and so much of what is needed is this willingness to open yourself up to look at yourself, to look within. And you know, the biggest shift has been looking outside for answers versus looking within, but in the looking within, within is your connection to uh universal consciousness, it’s the term the universe, God, spirit, whatever word you want to use. So, like any other, you know, if you’re you’re working at building muscles in your body, it requires repetition, it requires practice.

And so this is a piece of your spiritual practice. It really is a practice of remembering who you are, it is a practice that you do, no one else can do it for you. It is in the silence, yeah, it is in the space that we create, that we actually, you know, in meditation, we say that it is about connecting to the space in between your thoughts. So we have 60,000 thoughts in a day, and so it’s not about stopping your thoughts, but it’s being in the space in between your thoughts, and in that space is where we come back to our higher self, to who we are, to the essence of who we are, which is an individualized expression of source, of consciousness that we all have within ourselves, and yet we forget, we forget that this part of us exists. And so we’re always, I love uh Michael Singer, he’s the author of The Untethered Soul, and he speaks how most of us humans we’re we’re not okay.

We have this feeling of not okayness, and the not okayness is that we’re disconnected, we’re separated from source. And so inherently, as humans, we always have this part of us that doesn’t feel okay because we are uh not connected, and yet the the the work here is in bridging and opening up that connection uh back in seeing so the light, you know, I say the name of my podcast and my community is spiritually wired, that we’re always uh when we’re born, we always have this connection, we always have access to that. If you think of a dimmer switch for a light, it’s always there, the connection is always there, but sometimes maybe the lights on brighter and sometimes feels like it’s dinner, dimmer, but we always have access. And so the work is in opening up that connection. I found that when my when I am connected, whenever I feel where I’m feeling stuck or I’m in my head, I’m comparing, I’m doing all of the stuff that we all do because we’re all human and you’re on social media and you’re you know scrolling and and thinking of all the ways in which you’re not doing well.

So when all those things start coming up, I know right away I’m disconnected. Yeah. Disconnected to somehow I’m disconnected. I’m human, and that’s part of being human. So now the work is in reconnecting and we reconnect in that space.

Now, in the space, it really is being in our bodies, as you said, and that looks different for everyone. Um, I’m a big believer in meditation because meditation is a way in which we open ourselves up to connecting to it. We create that space, it’s very uncomfortable uh for most people because it means that you have to be willing to be with what is, what’s showing up, the thoughts. Yeah, and a lot of those thoughts are not necessarily pleasant thoughts, right? Yeah, yeah.

JEN AKS 35:44

I oh sorry, sorry, go ahead. No, go ahead. I was gonna say, we’re gonna wrap up in a in a couple minutes, and I was just realizing, you know, we didn’t connect, we didn’t talk about this point, and I think it’s a good point to land on, um, around leadership, right? So the subtitle of the podcast is you know, wisdom from within, where human stories awaken, leadership from within, right? Where that so how that has helped us, this journey of awakening, this journey of opening up to spirit, this journey of disconnection to reconnection, how it has helped us be better parents, be better uh, you know, managers or teachers or coaches or CEOs or whatever it is we’re leading, because we’re all leading something and we’re definitely self-leading.

So, you know, how would you, you know, what do you feel about that connection of the lessons learned and the journey from within and how it’s impacted you specifically in your work?

RENEE WALKER 36:53

Oh, it shifts everything because you go from being reactive to being intentional with how you show up. It doesn’t mean that you’re not human and you’re not gonna get activated, triggered by things just like everyone else, but your power is in how you show up within the life of being a human. And so it shifted everything from that perspective. In, you know, my kids are are in their 20s and showing up as a parent for them. And even my daughter, you know, said, wow, like I she she saw that they saw the growth with me or the shift.

And again, not about being perfect, not about not having it’s not about not having the moments, but it’s in the intention of what do you do in those moments as a human that we have the power to actually choose how we’re gonna show up. And that has been the, you know, I’d say that that’s how you feel it, that’s how you see it differently. Going back to the idea of meditation, it’s not about the meditation, it’s that the time that you spend there, you’re cultivating presence. And as you cultivate presence in your morning practice, that’s what you draw on in the afternoon and three o’clock when you’re ready to lose your shit because something happened. You’re drawing on that presence.

So it is a practice, it’s it’s it’s it’s a way of being, I would say.

Oh, I love that. Everything you just said was so fantastic because it’s very it’s very tangible and it’s very clear. Like this leads to that, you know, be making the choice, practicing meditation, whatever that looks like for people, because there’s a lot of versions to do that, and then that impacting how you lead. And I love how your kids watched you through it, you know, without you feeling any sort of anything about it. It sounds like you brought them into your process, which is extremely beautiful and what a strong way to lead.

Yeah, amazing. We’re gonna we’re gonna wrap up here, but I’m telling you, like this conversation could go on for, you know, a million hours because there’s so much synergy and connection. I love the work that you’re doing. Um, can you just share with us how people can connect with you outside of this podcast? Yeah.

RENEE WALKER 39:12

Yeah. So I also have a podcast which I’m looking forward to having you on very soon. Yes. Spiritually wired podcast where we talk all about mindset, business, wellness through a spiritual lens. And through that, I also have the spiritually wired membership, which is for people who want to deepen their spiritual connection.

And it could because, you know, as we were talking about, one of the biggest things the is the remembering. And there is nothing like community, which I’m sure you you know and you see, right? Community helps us to stay in a space of feeling seen, of being um held and helps us remember what we know inherently. So that is a community where I offer um weekly classes, we meditate, we do some mindset work together, we we we show up together um in this work, amongst lots of other things. But um, want to reach out to connect Instagram at Renee Walker Wellness, and my website is renewalkerwellness.com.

Beautiful. I love it. I love it. I’m so grateful to you. Thank you for being here.

Thank you for inspiring the people that are listening. This is really important. It is so important. I am on a mission here to help people really listen to their body because it is the most trusted source of guidance that we have, even when it doesn’t feel right. It actually is.

It’s right for you, it’s right for the world, it’s right for all of us. So, um, anyhow, thank you for being here. I appreciate all of you and see you next week on the Wisdom from Within podcast. Bye, everybody. If something in this conversation spoke to you, don’t keep it to yourself.

Send it to someone who might need that message too. You can also send me a comment because I would love to know what it is that landed for you. But most importantly, take a moment to pause and listen to what it is that resonated because that’s where your real guidance system lives. The one you can trust, the one you can rely on. See you next week.
